Urgent Prayer Request

I talked to RyAnn, one of my best friends, this morning and she told me that her son, Brock, was taken to the emergency room last night because he couldn't breath! Brock has asthma problems and was having a really hard day yesterday. He was emitted into the hospital and finally put into a room at about 4:00 this morning. He is hooked up to an IV and a breathing machine. Poor little Brock! He is only 3 1/2!!

Please pray for Brock and for Ry and Nate. I can not imagine what they are going through right now. On top of all of that, Ry was suppose to start back to work today at her new teaching job!

Finally some HOUSE PICTURES!!

I am finally posting pictures of our house! NO, we are not finished yet! But, I went ahead and took some pictures last night to show how it is coming along. There is still alot of work to do, but we are in and slowly making progress. Last night I just spur of the moment decided to start snapping pictures, so these are all taken without cleaning or anything. It would be as if you all just randomly stopped by our home on a Tuesday evening to visit. So bear with the mess.........please. We have not hung any pictures or decorations up on the walls because we are still doing paint touch ups. So our walls are pretty bare. And of course, no post would be complete without a naked picture of my little Landyn running around in the front yard! Even in town she runs around naked in the front yard!!! No shame!!

Samson standing guard at the front window

Whose child is that anyways!?!?!

Waving at some poor old couple driving by. How embarassing!!

Guest room with Patrick's dirty Wranglers that need to be taken to the cleaners.

Kitchen. We are still working on the island. Needs a top and needs to be painted. Cut out part will be a wine rack. You can also see past Dining room into Landyn's play room.

Looking from Living room into Dining room and you can see part of the family room.

I did not get a good picture of Landyn's play room/ family room or of the 4th bedroom. The 4th bedroom is full of boxes and there is nothing to see with it. I also forgot to get a picture of the masterbath.

Our Herb Garden!

A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to plant some herbs. So Landyn and I found these cute little pots and bought some packets of seeds. I am not sure if I will actually ever use any of the herbs, since I don't know how exactly to use them, but I thought they would look cute on my window seal in the kitchen. So last night Patrick and Landyn finally planted our herb pots. I think she is a future horticulturalist!! She was rather proud of her little pots!!

Baby Tres's 1st visit to Temple!!

This past weekend, our dear friends JR and Kendra brought their 4 month old son Tres to visit us. Tres was such a cutie!! Landyn absolutely adored him!! We all met over at Granny's house and visited for a while, and then they came over to see our house now that we have moved in. It was so great getting to see them, and we loved getting to spend time with their sweet baby boy!

A few New York pics!

I am finally posting a few pictures from the guys New York trip. There were so many great pictures that I wanted to post, but just chose a few. The last picture they took with me in mind!!!! Haha! They also were able to see the inside of St. Patrick's Cathedral during Sunday morning mass. Which I thought would be really cool.

Road Trip

A couple of weeks ago, we drove up to Canyon, Texas for a friend's wedding. My parents went to school at West Texas State (now a part of Texas A&M). So for old time's sake, we took Landyn to walk around the campus. This is a beautiful new statue/fountain of a buffalo. Patrick stayed home to work on the house while me, Landyn, Mom, and Dad went on a quick up there and back trip. Landyn did so well in the long car ride! She discovered that she liked beef jerky. So we would give her a piece and let her gnaw on it for a while!! She was pretty cute trying to get that thing eaten!!

Dead Fish Grill

There is a new restaurant in town! It is called the Dead Fish Grill and it is at Frank's on the lake. We had heard that it was really good so me, Mom, and Landyn checked it out while the guys were all out of town. It was great! They have an awesome patio that over looks the lake. We went their for lunch and sat on the patio. It was so nice. They have fans so it is not hot, and they have a really nice seating area out there. The food was really good and really reasonably price too! I recommend everyone check it out!! Here are some pics that we took while waiting.

THS 10 Year Class Reunion

This past weekend was my 10 year class reunion. Two of my very best friends from highschool and I met at Cheeve's before hand to visit and then we headed over the the reunion. It was so great visiting with them and visiting with people that I graduated with whom I hadn't seen in a long time. Sarah and Lacy are truly part of my family. I have know them for SO LONG and treasure both of their friendships. This is a picture of us at Cheeve's. Sarah had a great idea of posting a picture of us from highschool..........or even middleschool along with this new one. I need to dig out an old one and scan it, so that will be a goal for the next couple of days. Patrick lucked out and didn't have to go the my reunion. He and my brother's and Dad went to New York to see a Yankee's game. They took a marathon tour of all of New York. I will post pictures from their trip in the next couple of days as well!!
