Playing house!

This past weekend, we moved almost all of the furniture and boxes into the house. It was a very busy weekend! It is finally starting to look like a home!! We have unpacked tons of boxes. Last night I actually fixed the first real meal in the kitchen! One of my favs--spaghetti! I felt quite "home-makerish"!! ;o) We are not spending the night there yet, all of our clothes are still at the other house, but our goal is to be spending the night there by this weekend. Landyn's new big girl bed is set up, and she took a nap there yesterday afternoon. So that was a big deal! I can't wait to get it all cleaned up so that I can take pictures and post them that way you can see the progress.

Happy Father's Day!

I want to tell my Dad and Patrick Happy Fathers Day! I am so proud of the husband and daddy that Patrick has become. He loves Landyn unconditionally, and Landyn adores him! My Dad is such an amazing man and an amazing example to us all. Thank you so much for all that both of you sacrifice for our family!!

FCA's Day of Champions

We have had a very exciting day. Today was the FCA's Day of Champions. It is an event the the Fellowship of Christan Athletes puts together for area kiddos to participate in various sports' camp type sessions that is free. My Dad's Bible Study has kindof adopted the cause so to say, and they help with the event. Dad and Patrick cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for all of the kids to eat at lunch. We are talking a couple of hundred kids, so this was no small task! Then a Praise Band came and played some songs, and a Christian guest speaker came and spoke to the kids. This is Landyn's second year to go, even though she is not old enough to sign up for any of the sports' camps yet, she still loves to go and watch the kids and fellowship with everyone. This is such a neat event and it does so much for the kids in our community. I am proud of our guys for helping out for such a great cause.

Keep us in your prayers tomorrow..................................IT IS MOVING DAY!!! Yep, we are taking the plunge and starting to move stuff in!! The house is not finished yet, but we are close enough that we could live there and work on finishing up little projects. I am so excited! This has been a LONG TIME COMING!!!

Three Muskateers go to San Antonio

This weekend our little family ventured to San Antonio. Landyn is almost 2 1/2 years old, and we have never gone on a family vacation just the three of us. So Saturday morning we woke up early and drove down to San Antonio. We went to Sea World for the day and then stayed down on the River Walk Saturday night. The next day we got up and did the Alamo and Mexican Market area. The trip was fabulous! We were worn out by Sunday afternoon! The pictures are all out of order. Sorry! But I hope you enjoy them!!
