Sleeping Beauties!

Sound asleep in the dark.

Picture with the flash on so you could see them. So cute!

Last night this is what I found in Landyn's room! My two girls cuddled together and both sound asleep! They didn't even move when the flash went off on the camera! I took a couple with out the flash and a couple with so you could get the full effect of the scene. I thought it was so sweet!!!

Hayride 2008

We went on our 2nd Annual Hayride to check out Christmas lights last night! The family loaded up (Patrick and Blake were inside the truck) and drove around the neighborhoods checking out everyone's lights. It was cold, but not too bad! We had a great time! Landyn loved it!!

Tyler graduated!!

Landyn holding her toasting glass full of water!

Tyler's graduation.

Yeah! Tyler finally graduated!! Last Friday, Uncle T. Bear graduated from Texas A&M University. We went to watch him walk across the stage! We also were able to hear George W. Bush speak at the graduation!!!! He was amazing!!

Fabulous Sunday!

View of Landyn on top of the Armadillo from our table! A nice presentation of cheeses and fruit! Landyn in the back ground with a giant grape in her mouth posing for the camera!!

Stud muffin!!

So cute!

Fun on the Armadillo!

Ahh! We look like we should be in high school again! I WISH!!!

Since it is only a week and a half away until Christmas, it is about time that I get my Christmas shopping completed! I was able to convince Patrick to go with me to Austin today to finish up my shopping!! Miracles never cease!!!
We had a fabulous time! He was such a trooper and a great help as well!! We are almost finished, well night quite almost, but we did make major progress today! We arrived at the Barton Creek Mall before all of the shops opened and ended up at the Domain in time to grab a few more gifts and a glass of wine before heading back to Temple for some of Blake's delicious gumbo!! Yes, Blake made the most delicious gumbo for us!! I told Blake he had to make it for Supper Club some time!!!

As we were relaxing at Cru' and Landyn was playing at the little play area at the Domain, I took some pictures of our "wind down" time that turned out kind of cute.

My little pretend Mary

Landyn sleeps with the same "soft sheet", as she calls it, every night. This pink sheet is the sheet that she had on her twim bed at my parents' house. The other night she brought it out and decided she wanted to use it dress up like Mary. So she had me wrap it around her head and then she wadded up the bottom; and the little bundle was her "baby Jesus"! It was the sweetest thing! She walked around rocking her little baby bundle pretending like she was Mary. So sweet!

Gingerbread House Project!!!

We made our first Gingerbread House tonight! It was alot harder than we thought!!!! The pictures are all out of order so you miss the humor behind the "process" of construction this thing!! I decided that next we needed to have a contest between girls and boys and who could make the best Gingerbread House!!! Landyn loved every second of it. Especially when she started sneaking licks of the icing!!!!

Biscuit and Landyn helping Daddy with the frame.

Daddy trying to understand the directions for putting up the frame!! But he is the "construction guy"!! :)

Landyn and Honey starting to put the outside decorations on.

This should be the first picture. The pack came with a slab to build on! So practical!

The finished product! One proud little girl!

TA-Da!!!!

Landyn sneaking some icing! Yummy!!!

ALOT harder than it looks!!!

We are finished!!!

Salado Stroll

This past weekend we went to the Salado Christmas Stroll. I LOVE SALADO! Especially during the Christmas Season!!! We had such a great time! The weather was perfect. Cold, but not miserable! Landyn really enjoyed seeing the live nativity scene.

Happy Anniversary

Happy 4th Anniversary!!! On December 4th, Patrick and I celebrated our four year anniversary. Kim and Jeff, some good friends, celebrated their four year anniversary on December 4th as well. Patrick and I went to Nami's for Sushi on our anniversary and guess who had the same idea?!?! Jeff and Kim!!! Great minds think alike! I think we should make this some kind of tradition!!

Smore Night!

Landyn made her first smores Sunday night! We went out to mom and dad's and roasted our marshmellows and sat around the fire pit. Good times!!

Another addition to the Johnson Family!!

Samson worn out from playing!

Anna Grace snuggling with Landyn.

Samson 9 months and Anna Grace 10 weeks.

This past weekend was quite an exciting weekend for the Johnson household! Patrick bought a new truck and I bought a new puppy!! Yep, it is official, we have completely lost our minds!!! So we have two puppies under the age of a year in our household! The newest addition is a ten week old bloodhound puppy named Anna Grace. Actually Landyn named her Princess Anna Grace. That is what we are going to put on her papers. Jenn and Blake have her sister Elli. They are the cutest and sweetest little things ever!! Samson and Anna Grace are getting along so well and Landyn is absolutely in love with her!!!

Nutcracker Market

I am so behind with posting on our blog!! A couple of weeks ago, we had a girls weekend in Houston. We went to the Nutcracker market and then to the Galleria for some much needed shopping therapy! We had a blast!

Halloween 2008: Mariposa the Butterfly Fairy

Landyn had a fabulous Halloween despite the stomach bug that we have been battling for a few days now. Thursday morning she woke up throwing up. Yuck. Friday morning we were dealing with the other end for a couple of hours. Yuck Yuck. But by Friday afternoon, all seemed fine. So we went trick-or-treating and had a great time. No problem. That night about midnight, she woke up throwing up again. Yuck Yuck Yuck.
We did have a great time though. We do have one funny story for the night which proves my point of what an animated drama queen Landyn can be.....even if her intentions are really sweet. She is destined for star-dom!!
Landyn went Trick-or Treating at our friends Lee and Sally's house. Sally was so cute and had a box of Whoppers tied with a bow and a candycorn lollipop. Way cute! Anyway she gave the box of Whoppers to Landyn and Landyn responded with great enthusiasm "Yeah, Chocolate Milk, My Favorite!" She was very animated and grateful. Which is so sweet on her part. The funny part is that she doesn't drink milk........at all!! Not white, strawberry, soy, or chocolate. None! But we had talked about saying "thank you" to ever body who gives her candy!!! So she saw the box of whoppers, which looks like a carton of milk and wanted to be very grateful for the "chocolate milk". I thought this was the cutest thing ever. I was so proud of her for being sweet despite whatever she thought she was getting. Sally and Lee, we opened the whoppers tonight and ate some, so she knows now that it wasn't' milk!! haha
