Summer is officially here!!!

Landyn is a little fish out of water!! We officially kicked off the summer by going to the pool yestday and today. Landyn has always loved the water, but I was amazed by how well she did in the water for this being the first time at the pool this summer!! Dead Fish Grille

Yesterday was Jenn's 26th birthday so we all went to the Dead Fish Grille for dinner. Yummy! It was a gorgeous evening and we had a fabulous time. It made for some good picture opps!

We had a Fish Fry on Saturday to celebrate Patrick's 30th birthday and Jenn's 26th birthday. The boys played golf Saturday morning and then cooked out a brisquet and fried some fish for the big meal Saturday night. Some of our Supper Club friends came over for the celebration and we had a great time!! Happy Birthday Patrick and Jenn! Yall are the best! Hope your birthday was as fabulous as you guys are!!!

It is amazing how much Landyn has changed!! I love looking back at old pictures of her!! It makes me sad to think that she is growing up and is now a little girl. Not a baby, not a toddler, but a little girl!! They grow up so fast!!!

Memorial Day Weekend was a big weekend for the Johnson Family! Landyn had her dance recital on Saturday and Patrick celebrated his 30th birthday!! We were so proud of our little star on Saturday afternoon! Landyn was amazing and looked beautiful, if I must say so myself!! :o) She is definitely a little performer! She has been taking dance lesson from Lisa's Dance Connection since she was crawling, and she just loves Mrs. Lisa. So do I! This is the third dance recital that Landyn has been in. I should post pictures from the other 3 years! That would be a neat post!!!

A Night at Honey and Biscuit's House

On Thursday nights, Landyn typicaly spends the night with Honey and Biscuit. I miss her terribly and she doesn't think twice about me!! But I have come to accept it. It is special that she gets to go and spend the night over there, and they get to spoil her like crazy without me around. Honey bought some new side walk chalk paint that they were all excited about getting to try out last night. All three of them had a blast painting on the back porch!! Their creative juices were flowing!! I went over there today to check out the finished art work and was really impressed. The colors are so bright and colorful, and all you have to do for clean up is spray with the waterhose just like regular side walk chalk. My consumer report is two thumbs up!!

The Boys' Fishing Trip

Patrick, Blake and Lee went fishing last night on Lake Belton. Here are a few pictures from their trip. Sorry, they didn't get a picture of Lee!! Can you believe fish that big are actually in Belton Lake?!?! Yikes! They actually caught 21 total!! They are going to fry their fish on Satruday in honor Patrick's 30th birthday and Jenn's 26th Birthday!! Happy Birthday Weekend Patrick and Jenn!!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! Sunday morning, I woke up to flowers and a special present from Patrick and Landyn. They bought me a shirt from the Domain! I was able to wear it to church!! Then we went to eat with my parents at Pignetti's. Yummy!! Sunday afternoon, we relaxed at their house while Landyn played in the sprinkler for about 4 hours. And my Dad cooked dinner for all of us on his big smoker. Such a relaxing day surrounded by my loved ones!!
