Christmas Day afternoon we went out to my parents house to celebrate with them. It was gorgeous outside and we enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. The guys grilled out steaks and we steamed up some crab legs! Talk about a feast!! It was the perfect way to wrap up such an amazing day!!!

Honey took Landyn yesterday on a playdate. They went to see the movie Princess and the Frog and topped the afternoon off with some Maggie Moo's! Landyn loves the cottoncandy icecream!!

Santa brought a Wii for Landyn and Brooks to share! Oh yah--and Daddy too!! :o)

Landyn got a princess dress! This was my prom dress one year and I had altered to fit Landyn!!

Landyn and Brooks must have been very good this year because Santa came to our house with lots of presents! It was so much fun watching Landyn open all of her gifts and Brooks' gifts as well!!

The Christmas Eve Party was out at Mom and Dad's house this year and it was a blast!!! Landyn is definitely a party animal! She was going strong at midnight!! Needless to say, Santa did not visit our house until LATE Christmas Eve!! As you can see from the pictures we had a great time. Mom did a fabulous job hosting the party this year!!

We were surprised to find snow falling when we left for the Christmas Eve Service at church!! Landyn and Brooks looked so cute dressed up! This is one of my favorite pictures we took before leaving!!

Gingerbread House Project

Honey and Landyn made a gingerbread house before Christmas. It turned out really cute!! Landyn loved putting all of the little candies on it!

Tummy Time Fun

We have been working on tummy time with Brooks. He enjoys it for short periods of time. The top picture is of Samson giving Brooks a big wet kiss!! Yes that is Samson's long tongue!! What's a little dog slobber in the whole scheme of things right?!?! In the botton picture you can see Brooks' drool just pouring out. He is drooling so much!! The only explanation I can come up with is that he has to be teething! His shirts become soaking wet with all of the drool!!

Annual Cheeve's Christmas Party

Last week we had our Christmas Party with the Pitts, Marshall, Wilkinson, and Johnson families. We look forward to this fun get together every year!! This is the 5th year we have done this party!! We did miss Tyler and Keith this year though!!

Colton Brooks Johnson

My sweet Brooks is getting so big! I can't believe he is already 14 weeks old tomorrow!!! We tried out the Bumpo seat a couple of days ago and he looks like such a big boy. As you can see, he is definitely looking more and more like Landyn every day. Although Landyn had lost most of her hair by this age and then it came in red. Brooks still has some of his hair, so his might stay dark. He had a doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago and he is in the 75% in weight and 45% in height!! It is official, he is as round as he is long!!

Temple Bible Church Children's Christmas Choir

Landyn sang in the Christmas choir at church this past Sunday. She loved standing up in front of the whole church and singing Christmas songs. I was so proud of her!!
