Crazy Bed Head!!

I don't know what went on in Brooks' bed during the night, but this is what he woke up looking like!!! Landyn and I had a good laugh at his crazy hair this morning!!!

Happy Father's Day!!

We grilled steaks and made homemade icecream out a mom and dad's house for Father's Day. Yummy! I am so blessed to be married to such an amazing husband and father to our children!! And we are so blessed to have my dad close by so that Landyn and Brooks get to see their Biscuit every single day!! It was definitely a day to be celebrated!

Brooks' 9 Month Check-up

We visited Dr. Kastner today for Brooks' 9 month check-up. Everything looked great except for the mild ear infection!! Yikes! So we were given antibiotics! Bummer. Otherwise, Brooks is doing great! He is still working on getting that 7th tooth in! He has a whole mouth full of chompers! Still nursing well, although I talked to Dr. Kastner about maybe starting to wean him. He is eating all kinds of big boy food. You name it, he has probably had it and liked it! He is pulling up and cruising all over the place. There is not one square inch of our house that he has not explored! He is definitely all boy and is so different than what Landyn was like when she was little. We are so blessed to have him in our family!

Beating the Heat

Our neighbors gave us this cute little blow up pool that we put to good use yesterday. We have been going to swim at the Summit. But much to my disappointment, Brooks is not enjoying the swimming pool!! Yet, he loves bathtime and he did really well in the blow up pool. I don't know what it is about the big swimming pool that he does not like!! We are going to keep trying though! Especially since we leave in two weeks for Destin!!!! So I might be packing this little pool up and taking it with us to the beach! Haha!

Landyn and Granny Play Date

We invited Granny to come over and eat dinner with us last week. She came over early and disappeared back into Landyn's bedroom with Landyn. When I went back to check on them, this is what I found! Granny sitting in Landyn's little craft table chairs playing with her doll house. Keep in mind, Granny is 92!!! They also played doctor and beauty shop!! I am so glad that Landyn is able to make these special memories with Granny. She will treasure them always!!

Summer Sunday afternoon out on the Farm

My kiddos LOVE to be outside and out at my parents' house!! There is nothing better than relaxing Sunday afternoons out on the porch or patio. These are some fun shots we took last weekend. Brooks is trying to beat the heat. Landyn and Biscuit were out on the tractor. I love the one of Brooks looking at us through the glass door and looking at Brea. He is so precious! Always on the go now!!

Road Trip to the Children's Museum in Bryan

We took a road trip to College Station last week so that the kids could be in a "fashion show" for one of our favorite kid's stores, The Blue Kangaroo. The fashion show was held at the Children's Museum in Bryan. The kids were able to play afterward and we were able to get some cute pictures.

Patrick and Jenn's Birthday Bash

The last several years we have kicked off the summer with a birthday bash for Patrick and Jenn! This year the theme was Crawfish Boil and we had it at Blake and Jenn's house. It was a fabulous night spent with friends and loved ones!! Happy Birthday Patrick and Jenn!!!! I love you both so much!!

Landyn participated in her 4th dance recital this past month. It is hard to believe that she has been taking dance from Mrs. Lisa for that long! Landyn loves dance and is really good at it as well!! I have a feeling we will be sitting through dance recitals for many years to come! After looking at the pictures, I was disappointed to realize I didn't get one of Landyn with her Honey and Biscuit! Bummer! They were the ones that brought her the gorgeous rose bouquet!

Round Rock Express Baseball Game

Last month our Supper Club all went to a Round Rock Express Game. Landyn went with Honey and Biscuit to a wedding, so we just had Brooks. It was a great night and Brooks was so good! He will definitely be baseball guy!!

Landyn's Last Day of School

We enjoyed attending Landyn's last day of school program! After the program, the families were invited to stay and have punch and cookies. We were so proud of her! She loves school and we have had such a wonderful experience at St. Francis Episcipal School!
