Big Wedding Weekend!

This past weekend was Patrick's little sister's wedding! Whitney and Eric had a beautiful wedding! Landyn was a flower girl, I was a bridesmaid, and Patrick was an usher. So exciting! We had a great time at all of the festivities and were really tired by the time we got home late Saturday night. Landyn did a fabulous job. I was so proud of her!! It's a ............. BOY!!!

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby boy!! Yesterday was our big ultrasound. Everything looked perfect! We are truly blessed!! I will post some pictures from the ultrasound in the next couple of days. We left Scott& White yesterday and went to Target and the mall shopping for little boy clothes! It is quite different looking for little boy clothes than it is looking for little girl clothes!! Maybe Temple just doesn't have a very good selection, but we couldn't find anything cute!!! Total bummer!!! So we are going to Austin on Friday to see what we can find. :o) Now we can start thinking of names and planning a nursery! So fun!! Landyn is very excited to have a baby brother. She has now named him Spud!! LOL!! She told another mom at dance today that we were naming her baby brother Spud!! She cracks me up! Where she comes up with these things I have no idea!!!

After church, Granny, MeMe, Honey and Biscuit all came over for lunch. Honey and Biscuit brought an Easter gift basket for Landyn that was full of all kinds of fun things! Landyn loved the confetti eggs!! We had confetti everywhere!! Lunch was great and then we took a much needed Sunday afternoon nap!! When we woke up from our nap, the weather was gorgeous outside!! So we spent the rest of our Easter Sunday outside in the yard! We couldn't have asked for a better Easter weekend!!! We are truly blessed!!

Another Surprise Present!!

Saturday night GiGi and Doc, Jenn's parents, stopped by with a surprise Easter gift for Landyn! She was so excited about the new soft bunny and special M&M's!! GiGi and Doc are so sweet!!! Landyn loves her new bunny and even took it to church with us Easter morning!

After watching the weather predictions for Easter Sunday, the Easter Bunny decided that Saturday would be a better day for Egg Hunting. So when Landyn woke up from her nap, she found out that the Easter Bunny had come to her house while she was sleeping!! She had a great time hunting for eggs and got some great little goodies in her gift basket that was left for her on our front porch. We all enjoyed watching her look for the eggs! She is so animated and dramatic about everything, she was just cracking us up!!

Surprise Early Easter Present!

Blake and Jenn left for Seattle on Thursday to go and see Tyler for the Easter weekend. They surprised Landyn with an early Easter present!! She was very surprised and excited to find out she had a special gift!! She loves her Aunt Jenn and Uncle Blake! We sure did miss them this weekend while they were away, but we are very glad that they were able to go and visit Uncle T. Bear during the holiday! We missed him too!!

T-Ball Fun!

Landyn is our little athlete! She and Patrick practiced t-ball in the front yard this evening with their make-shift tee. She is actually really good! I can not wait until next year when she can play t-ball on a real team!! Of course I say the same thing about her playing soccer. She loves playing soccer as well. She is really good at kicking the ball and we set up a little goal that she tries to score in. So fun! I have a feeling next spring will be quite busy with various practices and games!! Hope this new baby can handle life on the run!!

Getting Ready for Easter!

Easter wouldn't be complete without some Easter egg dying! We had a great time dying some eggs -- despite the mess!! Landyn was old enough to actually dye her own eggs this year! It is hard to believe how grown up she is getting!

A Definite Work in Progress

We have now owned our home for over a year now, and it has been a continual work in progress. Although we have made dramatic progress, there is still so much yet to be done. One of the big jobs that we have wanted to check off of our list was a privacy fence. Patrick and Blake tackled this major task a couple of weekends ago. They worked very hard all weekend long and knocked out the front and both sides. You might notice all of the mess in the backyard. They had to rip down our old chain-link fence, tear up bushes, and dug up an old ancient secptic tank. All of this was done with a tractor that Blake borrowed from work. So our yard literaly looked like a bomb had exploded in it!! I am thrilled with how nice the fence looks, but the yard part still needs a complete overhaul! Landyn enjoyed helping out as well!! Thanks Blake for all of your hard work!!!
