Labor Day Weekend

I am seriously so far behind on blogging! The month of September has been so busy, and I have all kinds of fun pictures that I need to post!! My goal for this week is to try and update my blog!! So here goes......

Labor Day Weekend was so nice and relaxing. We spent the majority of it out at Mom and Dad's house enjoying the great outdoors. The guys did what guys do............hunt. And the girls did what girls do...........drink wine!!! :o)

First Day of Pre-K!!

It amazes me how much Landyn has grown up over the past year! Not only has she grown a lot taller, but she has matured so much!! She was so excited about school starting back up. I am so glad that she loves school and seems to be thriving at St. Francis!! She has Mrs. Sweeden this year, which I had as a substitute teacher when I was in elementary school!! So fun!

My Baby Boy is Growing Up!

Please don't judge me, but we have turned Brooks' car seat around even though he doesn't turn one until next month! Trust me, it was time!! This is what I see when I turn around to look back. He looks SO BIG! His Sissy gave him her juice box and he was drinking it like a big boy. So I pulled over and snapped these pictures of him.

A couple of weekends ago we celebrated the marriage of some of our closest family friends' son, Keith Wilkinson. The wedding was beautiful and we had a wonderful time at the reception. I was able to get some cute pictures!

First Official Haircut!

Last week Brooks received two haircuts! The first attempt was at Honey's house in the tub. We trimmed the back of his hair and his bangs. But that made the rest of his hair look that much thicker and subsequently he looked like he was wearing a football helmet. So we needed to take him to a professional to get it tapered and evened out. So I took him to some random place next to the cleaners to get him all fixed up. We had an excellent experience! I gave Landyn the camera and she was in charge of pictures, which she did phenomenal! Brooks did not fuss at all while the lady was cutting his hair! She put some "styling products" in it and styled him all up! He was such a stud muffin!! I can't believe how much older it made him look!!

Don't Wine, 30 is Fine!!

Kim, Brian, Kathy, and Gordon gave me a present that came in a "little blue box"!! Landyn was even more excited than I was!!! She is a product of the village!! How many 4 year olds know what comes in a "little blue box"?????

I had a wonderful 30th birthday! We celebrated at Messina Hof which was amazing! If you have not been, I highly recommend it! The food was fabulous and we had an incredible wine tasting before hand. The afternoon/evening would have been perfect except for the fact that Patrick got a migraine and spend half of the time napping in the van. Bummer. So, we have no pictures of him! But that just gives me a good excuse to go back, because he missed out on the experience! :o)
