Field Trip to the Alpaca Farm

Two weekends ago, we went to an Alpaca Farm!! There was an article in the newspaper about a local Alpaca Farm that was open for visitors to come and "pet the alpacas". So me, Mom, and Landyn took a field trip to see the alpacas. They were really cute!

Homecoming '08

Last Friday was Temple's Homecoming. Mom and I made Landyn's mum. It was the first time that we had ever attempted making one. I felt quite "crafty"! For future reference, it is much cheaper to buy one already made!! By the time I bought all the stuff to make hers, I could have ordered several mums from the florist! It was fun making it though!!

Friday was also Uncle T. Bear's birthday! He turned 23!! Oh, to be 23 again!! Happy Birthday T. Bear!!

First Gymnastics Class at Extreme-Tumble

Landyn started taking gymnastics yesterday! She loved it!! Her favorite part was the trampoline and practicing forward rolls. Looks like we might be purchasing a tramp before too long!!

Friday was the first home football game for the Wildcats! Landyn was very excited about getting to wear her new cheerleader uniform to the game! I took this picture before the game. Mom has alot more pictures on her camera that were taken at the game, but I haven't downloaded them to my computer yet. I will post those soon!

New Ballet Class Starts

Today was Landyn's first day in her new dance class. She has been taking dance for 2 years now, but it has always been a Mommy and Me class. Her new class is a "big girl class" where she goes in without Mommy! It was much harder on me than it was on her. Landyn went right in, gave me a kiss good-bye, and did fabulously. Of course, my heart was pounding out of my chest, and I was so nervous as I walked out of the class room. The parents get to watch the class through TV monitors. Patrick met us up there for moral support................for me!! We were so proud of her and how well she did!!

Urgent Prayer Request

I talked to RyAnn, one of my best friends, this morning and she told me that her son, Brock, was taken to the emergency room last night because he couldn't breath! Brock has asthma problems and was having a really hard day yesterday. He was emitted into the hospital and finally put into a room at about 4:00 this morning. He is hooked up to an IV and a breathing machine. Poor little Brock! He is only 3 1/2!!

Please pray for Brock and for Ry and Nate. I can not imagine what they are going through right now. On top of all of that, Ry was suppose to start back to work today at her new teaching job!
